Physiotherapists at our clinic also work alongside highly trained Physiotherapy Assistants, including Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) practitioners and Human Movement Specialists, who help deliver delegated care under physiotherapist supervision.
This model allows physiotherapists to focus on assessment, clinical decision-making, and progression of care, while maintaining one-on-one patient treatment. At Rx Physio Health we do not use PTAs in the traditional method other clinics do - patients will work one on one with the PTAs to ensure that the PTA is giving their undivided attention to patient while following the outlined treatment plan as per the Registered Physiotherapists recommendations.
This model creates an opportunity to generate additional income through delegated treatment sessions delivered by PTAs, while maintaining high-quality patient outcomes and adhering to all College of Physiotherapists of Ontario regulations.

Earning Potential
This position operates on a fee-for-service model with strong earning potential.
A full-time physiotherapist at Rx Physio Health can expect:
● Estimated earning potential of $140,000 – $150,000 per year (based on full-time availability)
● Additional income through delegated care provided by highly trained PTAs
● The ability to build a strong and loyal patient base within the community

Responsibilities
● Perform comprehensive orthopedic and movement-based assessments
● Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient
● Provide manual therapy and corrective exercise programming
● Guide patients through progressive rehabilitation programs
● Delegate appropriate treatment components to PTAs when indicated
● Educate patients on injury prevention and performance optimization
● Maintain accurate and professional clinical documentation

Qualifications
● Registered Physiotherapist or Physiotherapy Resident in Ontario
● In good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
● Professional liability insurance
Assets (not required):
● Experience working with athletes or active populations
● Strength and conditioning background
● Certifications such as acupuncture, dry needling, or manual therapy
